Ok so I was made aware that I had not been posting and it is true, obviously from the lack of posts, thanks for reminding me Filter.

I read your posts this evening.  As far as the midgets are concerned, that is absolutely insane....28 dead and the rest probably mortally wounded.  I wonder how they coaxed the little guys into the death cage.

As far as the article about the "native american" author is concerned.  My first thought was:   Should I feel for him because he has to resort to deception in order to have his work be seen because of his "intense" persona.  Obviously, his work is worth the read, many people were taken back by the quality, but does this quality take second priority too honesty?  I am inclined to say that honesty is quickly becoming a lost art in todays world and more of it is needed.  Nevertheless, that is a great read.  I can't help but find the investigation work that is required to detect these inconsistencies irresitable.  Just think that would be a tedious but fun job.

I reserve my comments regarding Sheehan to myself.

And for the most important article that will ever be posted.  All I have to say is this.  Rain. Snow. Wind. Hail.  I'll be there for the reunion of the band that made it possible for me to let music mean something to me.

As for the lack of posts, it has been a combination of working and laziness.  Still looking for the Septemeber graduation date and then most likely a post-doctoral researcher at any university in the country.  Before christmas, I was almost 100% convinced that I wanted to avoid academics, but one of my projects is really progressing well (getting answers is always a good thing, but more imporant than that is raising more questions!).  I feel the old fire leaping back into my work.  Being excited to get to work in the morning and not wanted to leave in the evening.  Always thinking of the next step.  The next experiment.  Who knows, maybe I'll land a choice industry job and be content to have that nice salary.  My attitude will be different in 1 week, of that I am certain.

I did not know that there was a feud a'brewing between David Cross and Larry the Cable Guy, but apparently there is.

In other disturbing news, apparantlyt S. Korea's stem cell wonder scientist is using PhotoShop just a little to much to fabricate pictures of stem cells in order to make them look like seperate and unique lines.

Ok, so no, I have not seen this movie, but I have definitely heard enough about it to know what it is about.

While, I am not bothered by the subject matter as a whole, I do have one little comment.

To me, the American cowboy was one of the last refuges that had not been "tainted" by what I consider to be the now fashionable movment to be gay.  And now that little niche of American history is no more.

Go head, label me "homophobic."
